Programs and Events
In-Store Events
In-store events play an integral role in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game Organized Play. With Seasonal Kits, players are rewarded for participation of all kinds, as game stores may use these kits for casual play or host in-store tournaments with official prize support. With three four-month seasons each year (Spring, Summer, and Winter), players can find a variety of game nights, tournaments, and leagues at their local stores. Seasonal events are the perfect place for newer players to take part in organized tournaments and for experienced players to explore the mysteries of Rokugan with new decks.
Kotei Series
Held at locations around the world, Kotei tournaments bring together players from far and wide, offering incredible prizes and fun experiences. The very best players at each event will be awarded the title of Hatamoto, earning recognition for themselves and their clan at future events. Top performers earn a personal invitation to the Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game Winter Court World Championship and in addition, Grand Kotei champions win a free flight!
Winter Court World Championship
Each November, one of the Great Clans of Rokugan hosts the Winter Court—the Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game World Championship. As the winner of the 2019 Winter Court, Jose Luis Saenz of the Phoenix Clan claimed the title of Shōgun and made a critical story choice that will influence the future of Rokugan. Furthermore, regent Bayushi Shoju granted the Phoenix Clan the privilege of hosting the 2020 Winter Court, with prizes and decorations suitably themed in celebration. Play your part in the next Winter Court for fantastic prizes and the chance of becoming the next Shōgun!
