#ArkhamLCG

If you’ve been following social media, you’ll have seen some pretty big news today from Aconyte Books as part of our Arkham Nights celebration. In case you missed it, here’s a round-up, along with more information on these fantastic upcoming titles.

The Forbidden Visions of Lucius Galloway (Drowned City, Book 1)

Announced last month, today we can reveal the cover for the forthcoming Arkham Horror novel, The Forbidden Visions of Lucius Galloway by Carrie Harris with cover art by Martín M. Barbudo.

The novel serves as a prequel to the upcoming Arkham Horror: The Card Game expansion, The Drowned City, and introduces Lucius Galloway, one of the Investigators featured in the new expansion. What’s more, you can hear author Carrie Harris reading the book’s prologue in the video below, and you can also read the first three chapters online now.

The Forbidden Visions of Lucius Galloway will be published November 19. For more about the book, including pre-order info, visit Aconyte’s website.

The Nightmare Quest of April May (Drowned City, Book 2)

In some of today’s other big news, we can announce that The Forbidden Visions of Lucius Galloway is just the first part of a loose trilogy of novels ushering in the Drowned City, and the second – The Nightmare Quest of April May by Rosemary Jones – is coming Spring 2025!

The Tides of Innsmouth (Investigators Gamebooks #2)

Earlier this year, Aconyte Books released The Darkness Over Arkham, the very first Arkham Horror Investigators Gamebook. Today, we’re pleased to announce the second book in the series is coming Spring 2025.

This second volume in the series is fully compatible with The Darkness Over Arkham, so if you’ve already completed that adventure and you want to play through The Tides of Innsmouth using your chosen Investigator from the first book, you can.

The Tides of Innsmouth will be available for pre-order very soon – follow Aconyte on social media and sign up for the newsletter to make sure you hear first.

The Arkham Advertiser Show Giveaway

If you were lucky enough to be at Gen Con this year, hopefully you managed to pick up a copy of the Arkham Advertiser, a real, printed edition of Arkham’s esteemed paper of record. The Gen Con edition’s front page featured “Grave Rumors” of some strange goings on in Arkham and serves as something of a narrative introduction to EDGE’s The Hungering Abyss roleplaying game starter set – in fact, you can even use it as an in-game prop to immerse your group deeper into the world of Arkham. If you missed it, you can download a digital copy from EDGE’s website.

Well, today, we can announce that Aconyte  and EDGE have teamed up for another show giveaway edition of the Arkham Advertiser, which you’ll be able to pick up from PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia (from December 6-8), and Dragonmeet in London (November 30). Don’t worry, though – if you aren’t able to make it to either of these events, this new edition of the Arkham Advertiser will be available to download from EDGE’s site after the shows. You’ll just have to provide your own smell of fresh newsprint.
