In many ways, Star Wars™: Destiny resembles a treasure hunt—or an archaeological dig. You're delving through binders and boxes of cards and dice, hoping to uncover some mystical spark hidden within the interactions between two or more of them.

It's no easy task to sift through all the available options. Star Wars: Destiny is a game that spans the entirety of the Star Wars galaxy. It encompasses multiple eras. Its cast is a veritable "who's who" of the galaxy's most notable heroes, villains, and scoundrels. And the game provides you an astonishing degree of flexibility in how you bring these characters together and outfit them for battle.

In the end, though, this dig is something that appeals to the collector's heart. It resonates with the tinkerer who pushes for new designs. And, sometimes, the dig leads toward riches—such as those you'll find at stake during the 2018 Star Wars: Destiny European and North American Championship tournaments!

Participation

To find success in one of these top-level competitions, you'll need a sharp eye—one that can clearly recognize the best interactions between cards and dice. You can bet that your opponents will be looking for such interactions themselves!

Fortunately, your mere participation in the 2018 European or North American Championships earns you an alternate art version of one of the galaxy's most discerning archaeologists—Doctor Aphra!

As depicted by David Nash, this is a Doctor Aphra who understands the need to unlock your card combinations and resolve your dice with all due haste—and she's ready to move. The full-bleed artwork catches her mid-sprint, as she uses her unique game effect to draw cards and play the droids that will help her survive yet another tricky scrap.

Day 2

Of course, your archaeological dig needs funding, too, and everyone who qualifies for Day 2 at either the 2018 European or North American Championships will receive the backing represented by a set of six acrylic resource tokens.

Printed black atop a mirrored silver acrylic surface, these tokens will help fund all your future endeavors.

Top 64

Continue digging and fighting past your rivals, and you may find your way into the Top 64, where you'll gain access to a rare double-sided card with the Two-Player Starter versions of Rey and Kylo Ren.

Spot-glossed and printed on durable plastic, this card features artistic treatments of move stills from Star Wars: The Last Jedi and serves testament to the continued influence each of these Force users has upon the game.

Top 32

Race, battle, and dig your way into the Top 32, and you'll receive a commemorative binder that will stand testament to your performance even as it helps you sort and store all the other prizes you've received.

Proudly displaying either the European Championship or North American Championship atop a blue background layered with the appropriate flags, this binder holds nine standard-sized cards per page and up to 360 cards total. An elastic fastener wraps over the back to keep it shut securely.

Top 16

The Top 16 participants at the Star Wars: Destiny European Championship and North American Championship will receive a medal bearing the event's logo.

Top 8

Play your way into the Top 8, and you'll recover yet another unique artifact—a commemorative Doctor Aphra playmat. Emblazoned with the name of your event—either the 2018 European Championships or 2018 North American Championships—this playmat places the rogue doctor amid a mysterious jungle, populated by nexu, where an older transport has been abandoned, along with its secrets.

Finally, this rare playmat is marked with a symbol that proudly displays your placement at the event, whether that's the Top 8, Top 4, 2nd place, or 1st place.

Top 4

Given the numerous challenges awaiting them at the European and North American Championships, there can be little doubt that the Top 4 competitors will all have proven themselves extremely creative, sharp-eyed, skillful, and resourceful—and we'll hope to see them all competing for the game's top honors at the 2019 Star Wars: Destiny World Championships!

The Runners-Up at the European and North American Championships each earn a first-round bye in addition to their reserved seat and free event entry. More than this, each Runner-Up also walks away with a plaque commemorating his or her placement.

At the 2018 European Championships and 2018 North American Championships, we'll find many of those decks brought to light, as the game's top competitors unleash the strategies they've devised. And two of these players? They'll begin forging their legends…

The 2018 European Champion and 2018 North American Champion will both have proven themselves extremely talented and clever, and they'll not only be invited to chase the game's greatest treasures at the 2019 Star Wars: Destiny World Championships—they'll each earn a flight and lodging for the event.

In addition, these players will also win a first-round bye, as well as a reserved seat and free event entry for one guest each.
