Everything You Need to Know for Registration on March 14th

This May 3rd–7th, hundreds of players will arrive in Roseville, Minnesota to attend the 2017 World Championships for our competitive Star Wars™ games and experience an event like no other. Some players have already started on their path to the 2017 World Championships in May by winning a Regional Championship. For those that haven’t, your path begins with 2017 World Championships registration, starting at 12:00 PM CDT (Central Daylight Time), March 14th.

2017 Registration

Registration for the 2017 World Championships in May is entirely through our online ticketing partner, ShowClix. There will be no on-site registration.

Each World Championship event is $70, and no refunds will be issued once a ticket has been purchased. We recommend knowing which games you want to participate in ahead of time. Tickets will sell out quickly once they go on sale at 12:00 PM CDT (Central Daylight Time) on March 14th!

Reserved Entry for Champions

As we detailed earlier this month, we have reserved a number of seats for Regional Champions and all previous World Champions to register early. These players must complete the claim form by 11:59 PM CST (Central Standard Time), tonight!

A Champion can claim their reserved seat for purchase by filling out the claim form for the game in which they won a qualifying event. If you are a Champion in more than one game, you must fill out a form for each game in which you won. Click on a game below to be redirected to the claim form for each game.

Once we have confirmed you have won the qualifying event, an email will be sent to you on March 6th with a link for purchasing a ticket. Champions must purchase their ticket by 11:59 PM CST on March 10th! All remaining reserved seats will be sold as part of general registration starting at 12:00 PM CST March 14th.

Champions will have a seat reserved only for the game in which they are a Champion! Champions must purchase entry to any other World Championship tournaments separately through the general registration system.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for the 2017 World Championships in May. Entry in each World Championship is nontransferable.

Side Events

All side events at 2017 World Championships are free to anyone attending a World Championship event. However, side events do have limited space, and entry will be based on a first come, first served basis. The times when signup sheets will be available for each event can be found on our Tournament Details page.

Getting Started

You must start registration by choosing one World Championship tournament. Once you’ve chosen a game, you can add additional tournaments to your list before checking out. We recommend starting with your most desired Championship to give yourself the best chance at obtaining a seat. Bookmark your game's page and be ready to refresh and click on the game you wish to register for at 12:00 pm CDT on March 14th.

Each of the above links will take you to that game’s World Championships Registration page.

You will see a page like the one in the image above. Confirm you have the right event. Once confirmed, choose one ticket under Registration Options, and click on the Register button. For games with a Day 1A and Day 1B, choose a ticket under the day you wish to play. If tickets are available, you will arrive at a page showing your cart:

Once you arrive on this page, your ticket will be held for 15 minutes. If this is the only ticket you wish to purchase, make sure Will Call is selected as the delivery method and continue to Checkout.

If you wish to purchase more tickets, you can select Get Tickets for additional events on this page and you will have the option to add them to your cart. You can also purchase additional tickets through the main menu by clicking on the arrow in the upper-left corner.

Note: Adding additional events to your cart will not increase the time you have to check out!

Once you have all events you wish to enter, make sure Will Call is selected as the delivery method and continue to Checkout.

On the following page, fill out the desired T-shirt size, name to be printed on your badge, and your billing information. We cannot guarantee the correct T-shirt size if you do not select a size on this page! The name entered in the Customer Name field(s) will be the name that appears on your World Championship badge.

Once you’ve filled in your information, make sure everything has been entered correctly and then select Complete Order. You’ll be taken to a confirmation page with additional information about your registration. You should also receive a confirmation email at the entered email address shortly. If you do not receive a confirmation email within an hour, please contact [email protected].

Registration for 2017 World Championships opens in two weeks, March 14th, at 12:00 PM CST. Tickets will be in high demand, and we recommend registering quickly for your best chance at purchasing your spot in the tournament(s) of your choice. We would love to see you in Minnesota in May for the biggest event of the year!
