I Am No One can accelerate a House Tully deck by allowing The Blackfish ( Lords of Winter , 22) to claim two of the three power he needs to attack without kneeling. The Blackfish may be the most obvious target among House Stark’s unique characters, but Cat o’ the Canals ( Refugees of War , 84) is another excellent candidate since her immunity to your opponent’s card effects offers tremendous protection to any power she claims.

Meanwhile, the assassin’s Poisoned Coin means a swift and sudden death to any who receive it. At a mere one cost for a kill and a card draw, the Poisoned Coin is a good deal, forcing your opponent to make a choice between kneeling the attached character to help win a challenge or keep the character standing long enough to draw into his attachment control. Poisoned Coin becomes even better when you run it against a deck full of characters who can stand themselves, such as King Robert Baratheon ( The Tower of the Hand , 46) and Killer of the Wounded ( Queen of Dragons , 16), and it makes for a fine, unpredictable kill when you can first catch your opponent’s character off-guard with a Distraction ( Core Set , 155). In the end, though, the Poisoned Coin is an assassin’s tool, not a knight’s, and a budding House Stark assassin may be able to use it to coordinate some truly subtle, elaborate, and effective combinations, especially in a deck running The Kindly Man ( Valar Morghulis , 1).
