Come to Gen Con Indy 2010 - the best four days in gaming - and celebrate A Game of Thrones with us! Do you have what it takes to emerge victorious in the only game that matters? We will be running an entire weekend's worth of events for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game for players of all inclinations and experience levels!

And don't forget: the winner of each championship, Melee and Joust, as well as the player whose combined ranking in both Melee and Joust, will get to design a new card that will enter the A Game of Thrones metagame in a future release!

Melee World Championship
10:00AM Thursday, August 5th

Rise to the top of the Melee: participate in the A Game of Thrones Melee World Championship, on Thursday, August 5th, starting at 11:00 AM. ( Registration begins at 10:00AM, please report to the TO early if you are planning on participating in this tournament, as any player not registered once the tournament has begun will not be able to compete in the event. ) Players will compete against each other in multiplayer play, through several preliminary rounds (depending on attendance), with tables being randomly mixed and assigned at the beginning of each round. After the third round, the field will cut to a top four (by score) final table. Those four will play one final game, and the winner will be crowned the A Game of Thrones LCG® 2010 World Melee Champion.

Gen Con 2010 League
Ongoing . Orientation starts at 2:00PM Thursday, August 5th

Meet other A Game of Thrones players and compete in this casual, weekend-long league. At this orientation, you will receive exclusive league tokens, a league ribbon identifying you as a player, and a souvenir achievements booklet, as well as a briefing on the rules of the league. Play against other league members at any time during the Gen Con weekend and meet back at 12:00PM on Sunday, August 8th , for awards and prizes for those players who do the best during the league. A great way to get lots of games played at Gen Con.
For those players participating in the Melee World Championship there will be a break during the tournament to allow you to participate in this league orientation.

Joust World Championship
10:00AM Friday, August 6th

Compete head-to-head in the ultimate showdown of the Joust World Championship on Friday, August 6th, at 11:00 AM. ( Registration begins at 10:00AM, please report to the TO early if you are planning on participating in this tournament, as any player not registered once the tournament has begun will not be able to compete in the event .) Players will compete against each other head-to-head, through several preliminary Swiss rounds (depending on attendance), cutting to a single-elimination top four. The final four will play off against each other until only one player remains. This player will be crowned the A Game of Thrones LCG® 2010 World Joust Champion.

2-on-2 Team Tournament
10:00AM Saturday, August 7th

Introducing a new alternate play format for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game : Team Play! Form a two-player team and compete against other teams for ultimate victory in this exciting new format. ( The Event begins at 11:00AM. Registration begins at 10:00AM, please report to the TO early if you are planning on participating in this tournament, as any player not registered once the tournament has begun will not be able to compete in the event.) The first team to reach their combined victory total (30 power, or more if Agendas are being run ) wins the match! Multiple rounds will be played and will then cut to a top tier (the number depending on attendance) with one team claiming first prize and the tournament championship.

Legacy Highlander Event
4:00PM Saturday, August 7th

Bring out your old A Game of Thrones cards for this classic tournament on Saturday, August 7th, starting at 5:00 PM. ( Registration begins at 4:00PM, please report to the TO early if you are planning on participating in this tournament, as any player not registered once the tournament has begun will not be able to compete in the event. ) In the Legacy Highlander Event, all non-banned cards and promo cards from any A Game of Thrones CCG and A Game of Thrones LCG® sets can be used to build your deck in this competition. Multiple Swiss rounds will be played and will then cut to a top tier (the number depending on attendance) with one player claiming the tournament championship.

Kingsmoot Melee Event
10:00AM Sunday, August 8th

The Lords of the Iron Islands have gathered and a Kingsmoot has been called to determine who is the ultimate King of Rock and Salt! ( The event begins at 11:00AM. Registration begins at 10:00AM, please report to the TO early if you are planning on participating in this tournament, as any player not registered once the tournament has begun will not be able to compete in the event .) Compete against other A Game of Thrones players in this exciting alternate play format. Multiple randomly mixed tables will play through several rounds and will then cut to a final table (the number preliminary rounds depending on attendance) with one player claiming first prize and the tournament championship. The rules for the Kingsmoot can be found on the A Game of Thrones Support Page . The Kingsmoot is most thematic if all the players are playing House Greyjoy, but there is no reason that other great Houses cannot take part in the Kingsmoot if they desire to do so.
