FFG Live in October

Fall is fast approaching, and we have plenty of livestreams planned for the month of October—including three streams centered on SPIEL.digital, the online replacement for Germany’s annual Essen SPIEL convention. We always stream live on our Twitch channel, and even if you miss the live show, our videos are archived afterwards on our YouTube channel. To find out what we have planned for October, read on!

First up, you can join us on October 8 at 6:00 PM Central Time to watch us play The Lord of the Rings: The Board Game Anniversary Edition! Created by renowned game designer Reiner Knizia in 2000, The Lord of the Rings: The Board Game lets you experience the Fellowship’s flight through the Mines of Moria, the desperate defense of Helm’s Deep, and the Ring-bearer’s long march across the desolate wastes of Mordor. This classic game has been out of print for years, but with the anniversary edition, you have the chance to add this game to your own collection.

The following week, on October 15 at 6:00 PM Central Time, come sit down with designers Matt Newman and Jeremy Zwirn to watch us play through the first scenario of the newly released The Innsmouth Conspiracy deluxe expansion. Whether you’re wondering what to expect from this new campaign, have questions for the designers about the new cycle, or just want to hang out and talk Arkham Horror: The Card Game, this is the perfect stream for you.

Finally, we’ll be launching into our streams accompanying the SPIEL.digital show—streaming on our Twitch channel at 10:00 AM Central Time each day on October 22–24! Although we can’t gather in person, we still have plenty of exciting things to show off, featuring some of our hottest upcoming games.

We kick things off on October 22 at 10:00 AM with a brand-new product announcement—and you probably couldn’t guess what this might be… You won’t want to miss this announcement as we sit down with the developers to go deep on this new product line!

On October 23 at 10:00 AM, we’ll be sitting down with Dane Beltrami to reveal even more of Prophecy of Kings and answer your questions about this brand-new expansion for Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition. This massive new expansion is absolutely packed with new content for your games, and we’ve only scratched the surface in our previous unboxing. Come prepared with your own questions for Dane!

Lastly, we’re wrapping our SPIEL.digital streams on October 24 with some gameplay of the upcoming X-Men: Mutant Insurrection. In this stream, we’ll be showing off the multiplayer aspect of the game, playing with designer Brandon Perdue, producer Molly Glover, and art director Deborah Garcia. You won’t want to miss the X-men leaping into battle!
