Join Us for New Livestreams in May
The first season of FFG Live continues to roll on in May, join us this month for nine livestreams showcasing the hottest new games from FFG!
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 P.M. Central Time, we’re streaming live on YouTube and Twitch, bringing you the latest on upcoming new titles from Fantasy Flight Games. Last month, we checked out the Super Star Destroyer for Star Wars: Armada, crowned an office Keyforge champion, discovered The Circle Undone with Ludwig in Arkham Horror: The Card Game, and more! You can find all of our past broadcasts archived on our YouTube page, but for now, we want to show you what you can expect to see from FFG Live in May.
To kick off FFG Live in May, we’ll have a panel on the fantastic art featured in our games! From the cyberpunk stylings of the Android Universe to the seedy noir of Arkham Horror, Fantasy Flight Games is renowned for their atmospheric art. This panel will give you insight into the art process here at FFG. What makes a good art piece for a game? How do you blend art and mechanics? These questions and more will be answered on May 2nd!
Curious about more Star Wars: Outer Rim? Join us on May 7th as Designer Corey Konieczka and Head of Studio Andrew Navaro travel the most dangerous part of the galaxy in search of fame and fortune.
On May 9th, join us for a master-class on Star Wars:™ Legion miniatures painting with John Shaffer. As the head of the miniatures department, John is one of our most prolific painters, and is ready to give his expert tips and advice to Star Wars: Legion fans! Whether you’re an amateur painter or a grizzled veteran, this is one stream you won’t want to miss.
On May 14th, we’re taking a deep dive into crafting narrative through games. Whether it's the difficult choices of Arkham Horror: The Card Game or simply the story your games of X-Wing™ tell, narrative is an essential part of board gaming. Join a panel of experts as we cover telling stories through board, card, roleplaying, and miniatures games.
We’ll dive once again into the Crucible on May 16th as we play a game of Keyforge using Age of Ascension decks in the reversal format! In this twist on the game, Each player brings a deck to the match which they believe is challenging to win with. Players than temporarily swap decks and try to win the round with the deck their opponent brought!
Journey into Rokugan on May 21st and 23rd with two full sessions of Legend of the Five Rings Roleplaying! The May 21st stream will take our players through character creation, with a full-blown adventure occurring on May 23rd!
Join us on May 28th for a stream focusing on X-Wing and Star Wars: Destiny™! Not only will we announce the dates of the 2019 World Championship for both games, but we're also giving you the oppurtunity to ask your burning questions about Organized Play. If you're a fan of either of these games, this is one stream you won't want to miss!
Finally, we’re ending May in style with the Keyforge: Age of Ascension giveaway livestream! Come join us as we celebrate the release of Age of Ascension with games and giveaways on an extended livestream!
