Arkham Nights 2017

Two Days of Horror and Madness on October 13-14

#ArkhamNights2017

Update: The Streets of Arkham expansion for Mansions of Madness Second Edition will unfortunately not be available for purchase at Arkham Nights 2017. We apologize for the miscommunication.

The safety of the light begins to fade and the cold winds hinting of death and winter begin to blow. The shadows reach out their catching tendrils and the things that go bump in the night grow bolder with each passing day. The veil that separates our world from the next is lifted ever so briefly. The creatures of nightmares are coming.

Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce that the celebration of Lovecraftian horror, Arkham Nights 2017, will be held this October 13-14 at the Fantasy Flight Games Center in Roseville, Minnesota! Purchase tickets here, and read on to learn what you might expect to encounter!

For those daring mortals who seek out the unknown, entranced by the mysterious and the sinister, Arkham Nights is the ultimate destination. This chilling two-day event offers participants the opportunity to play demos, receive exclusive gifts, and meet and play with the designers who bring the beloved Lovecraftian games to life.

Nightmares Begin Anew

Arkham Nights 2017 invites all attendees to celebrate Lovecraftian horror in all its forms, with both new and classic Arkham Horror Files games. You'll have the chance to play the Streets of Arkham expansion for Mansions of Madness Second Edition before its release to the outside world, and you can peek behind the curtain at upcoming expansions for both Elder Sign and Eldritch Horror. Attendees will be able to test their sanity with playthroughs of the epic twelve-player Labyrinth of Lunacy scenario for Arkham Horror: The Card Game. And of course, the two-day event will also mark the much-anticipated return of Cycle of Eternity for Eldritch Horror and To the Barricades for Arkham Horror!

Beyond celebrating the Arkham Horror game series, this event will offer a variety of special events filled with thrills and chills. The original creator of Arkham Horror, Richard Launius, will be offering a "Play with the Designer" experience of the game that started it all on a custom, giant-size board. On Friday night, attendees will be chosen by lottery to participate in a card council with Nate French and Matt Newman to create a unique card for Arkham Horror: The Card Game, gaining a rare insight into the creative process and the method to the madness. Then, on Saturday, attendees are encouraged to don their pallid masks and trenchcoats for an Arkham-themed costume contest, complete with prizes. There will be more "Play with the Designer" opportunities throughout the event with members of the Fantasy Flight Games development team, and for those who wish to delve deeper into the Arkham Horror universe, a new novella will go on sale this weekend, inviting you to continue to revel in madness even after the portals to other worlds have closed.

Mementos of Madness

All attendees will receive a gift bag filled with implements to help you stand against the coming darkness. The embroidered 6” by 9” velvet bag, only available to those who attend the event, contains a collection of acrylic health and sanity tokens, an Arkham Horror deck box, two promotional investigators for Elder Sign, and the Arkham Horror: The Card Game Labyrinth of Lunacy deck. In this epic expansion for Arkham Horror: The Card Game, which made its first appearance in our world at Gen Con 50, up to twelve players face horrific perils at the hands of a madman as they must work together to escape.

Mark your calendar! October 13th at 5:00 pm, the madness begins at the Fantasy Flight Games Center, and continues until the stroke of midnight on October 14th. Travel beyond the world you think you know and enter a land of Lovecraftian horror! To experience the terror, the madness, and the mayhem, you can purchase tickets to the event here!
