"The visitors poured through the castle gates in a river of gold and silver and polished steel, three hundred strong, a pride of bannermen and knights, of sworn swords and freeriders. Over their heads a dozen golden banners whipped back and forth in the northern wind, emblazoned with the crowned stag of Baratheon."
–George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones

Thirteen years ago, Fantasy Flight Games first brought the world and characters of A Game of Thrones to life in card game form. Since that time, George R.R. Martin has added new volumes, characters, and intrigues to his beloved fantasy saga. Simultaneously, it has gained the attention and adoration of millions of new fans, shocking them with its bloody deaths and clever twists. Now Fantasy Flight Games is rereleasing A Game of Thrones: The Card Game in an updated format that offers players a deep and immersive experience with the characters, battles, and intrigues of Westeros.

We'll have a limited number of early copies available at our booth at Gen Con Indy, and we're kicking off our Organized Play support with this weekend's Kingslayer tournament. Meanwhile, if you're still looking for more information about the ways that A Game of Thrones: The Card Game Second Edition captures the essence of Westeros, the developers have decided to offer you a peek behind-the-scenes of its creation in this short video highlight.
