is looming larger than Cthulhu himself, and new texts have arrived just in time for those ready to compete. Will these texts contain the information investigators need to defeat the Ancient Ones? Or is humanity doomed to fail?

A Word from the Developers
Iä Fhtagn Call of Cthulhu Players!
This FAQ update brings several cards back into players’ hands, taking them off the banned list. Additionally, a slew of new cards have been added to the restricted list, along with errata for other cards. We also have answers to rules questions that have cropped up since the last FAQ.
The card Diseased Sewer Rats was put on the Banned list in order to curb the speed of the metagame. We’ve brought the card back to the restricted list in light of several other restrictions that have been added. Additionally, we’ve brought back Magah Bird from the Dreamlands cycle, with new errata that curtails its explosiveness while still maintaining the original feel of the card.
As far as the restricted list goes we have added new cards to the list for the following reasons:
We have also removed both Descendent of Eibon and Negotium Perambulans in Tenebris from the restricted list. With the game’s current direction it was no longer necessary to keep these cards restricted.
We hope these changes will further the community’s enjoyment of the game and give players new inspiration for deckbuilding!
Sincerely,
Brad Andres and Damon Stone
